Certified Dental Assistant

As a certified dental assistant we work with young children in the community performing dental screening, educating them on proper dental hygiene and applying fluoride varnish. We work in various community settings and start early intervention with children at less than one year old. Public dental clinics were closed due to funding cuts and Vancouver Coastal Health has the only publicly-funded dental clinic still in operation.
