Dental Hygienists working in Public Health assess risk for tooth decay, plan programming and implement dental health interventions for vulnerable populations who are unable to access dental care in their communities. Public Health Dental Hygienists help families access available resources for dental care. We deliver our dental health services in various community settings and establish community partnerships that help us reach children and families in need.
